The species you mentioned have open panicles whereas E. speciosa has a rather contracted panicle with spikelets held close to the stem.
I collected some E. speciosa from a nearby creek. I have it in my plant press at home if you would like to have a look sometime. 🙂

Rhodanthe corymbiflora has flowerheads in corymbs rather than solitary as in these plants. R. corymbiflora also has wooly grey-blue foliage. It also looks a lot uglier haha, but that is subjective.

Eragrostis lacunaria, Eragrostis leptocarpa & Eragrostis microcarpa all pop up on my radar search if any of those speak to you. Otherwise it'll have to be genus I think, I can't get much of these sorry
