This is the first velvet worm sighting for New England NatureMapr. It is also significant in that it is either a species well out of its known range, or possibly a new species.

Beyond the known range limit for onychophorans in Oz. Closest known record is for Dactylothele habros, but still a good 100k away. Very likely a new species.
