User's notes

Small snake (forked tongue) about 15-20 cm long. Mostly brown, two white stripes on on each side of face and neck. Head slightly wider than body.

I do not profess to being an expert or anything close, but the two white stripes are fairly distinctive for a Swamp Snake - newfound wisdom from my first sighting of such a species in December 2024!
